Happy Pre-School Graduation  to Justingrad1.jpg (30490 bytes)

Graduated May 6, 2000 - More Pictures to follow as soon as we have them, (Doris still has her roll of film somewhere) These photos were taken by Terri.
Justin is escorted down the center staircase by his sister Melissa who is a student in the Child Development Class and one of Justin's teachers in the pre-school .  As part of her senior year studies, Melissa is preparing to intern as a teacher in a local elementary school for the deaf next year. She has been taking sign language for the last two years as part of her preparation.
class1.jpg (19599 bytes)Justin gets to sit in the top row on the end, which works out fine for the photos!! His entire class made their entrance down the center staircase and were then escorted to their place on the mini-bleachers in front of at least a hundred adults and teachers.  They really did a super job of staying in their seats.

So good a job in fact that when a high school "Children's Players" acting group came to entertain them, they had a difficult time getting the graduates off the stand and onto the floor in front of the rest of the audience so the troupe could do their show for all of us at one!  They told the story of Cinderella in 5 minutes, then in 3 minutes, then one minute, and finally in 15 seconds. It was pretty funny as each actors part turned into one or two words! getsdiploma.jpg (19196 bytes)

After the entertainment all the Graduates were called in alphabetical order to walk up the stairs and be presented with their diplomas by members of the Senior Class Teachers. After shaking hands they could walk down the steps on the other side - an official Post-Pre-Schooler!

In the background you can see the balloons that lined the staircase the graduates came down.  There was also a balloon arch across the top center of the staircase.   At the end of the event, after celebrating with cake and punch the graduates also got balloons.

Just to prove Justin isn't always comfortable as the center of attention we have the above snapshot of Justin in the middle as the class talks to their Teacher at the end of the festivities.

Just in time as far as Justin is concerned!  Now that it's over he can slide that cap back and enjoy a sigh of relief.  It's over and all the graduates did a real good job throughout the entire program.  It was pretty obvious that their "Teachers", High School students themselves, were just as proud of "the kids" as the parents and grandparents were!  A couple of the young ladies were even noted to have tears trickling down to big smiles as their little trainees went through their paces without a hitch.

Hi!! I'm Justin C. Bronson and my Dad is still writing this page for me because I'm only four years old. I've been a real handful for some time now... I'm 42" tall and weigh over 50 lbs.  I'm big for my age, at least that's what I hear people say!   As you can see from this old picture I can really roll a scooter...hardleft.jpg (19968 bytes)The handle can fold down to make a skateboard, but I like it as a scooter best. It's fun! Dad has a lot more pictures of me on another page. You can get to them from HERE!!

My favorite place to go is Chucky Cheese's Pizza,  or McDonalds...., or Taco Bell....., or Wendy's...., or Burger King...... I say the same thing for all of them, "MMmmmm, EAT!" Dad and I still like the same snack, Doritos new Spicy Nacho chips!! with medium salsa to scoop up on my chips! MMmmmmm, Chips!

Mom says I'm getting real helpful now too. I can even help unload the dishwasher and put away pans and silverware! I also do lots of delivering things, like bringing Daddy chips while he works on this page. Well, gotta go.. got chips to deliver!

Byeee! . . . . . . -the bear-
